What is the best way to cope with people begging on the streets? I always feel awful and never am sure what to do.

I am like you I am always afraid of hurting their feelings. The only good thing my husband would be with me, and he is really good at dealing with those people.

I feel bad when I see this also. I cannot help but feel uncomfortable because it is hard to tell if you give them money is it to eat or is it for something that I don't necessairly want to help them get.

I've found out that sometimes when you ignore them they leave you alone. But it also depends on your presentation. If you look in a bad mood most of them will avoid you.
