What is the first place that you would go to in Egypt and why? I'd love to see Memphis.

I think I would pick Cairo, just because I have always wanted to go there.

I'd want to either see the pyramids first, or the Valley of the Kings.  That would be a
very hard choice to make, so I'd try my best to make sure to do both of them soon after
arriving.   Smiley

The first thing I would want to see  is the pyramids. I have seen so many pictures, and have heard a great deal about them. That I would love to see them.

It would have to be the pyramids for me also. I have always had such a fascination with how they were built and what they were used for.

I don't think there's much of anything left in Memphis except a statue of Ramses and
possibly an open air museum remains.

Cairo is very interesting, lots of stuff to see but can be a lot. It is a very busy city and not somewhere you want to go to relax. Pyramids are amazing and better than you expect. The Egyptian museum is also amazing. Luxor and Aswan are a little more relaxing and very beautiful but still with a lot of history. The temples there are very interesting and the valley of the kings is great too. I would recomend a tour of egypt if you get a chance. I went on the Best of Egypt tour and would highly recomend it. You get to do and see all there is in Egypt.
