You should try a nile cruise in Egypt. Sounds romantic just from its name....  somewhere to go on honeymoon. but some friend of mine thought otherwise about going on honeymoon in Egypt cause she doesnt want to see "statues/idols"..guess we all have different ideas for a honeymoon |

I'd really like to do a Nile dinner cruise... not for a honeymoon but just as part of a really great
trip to Africa and Egypt.

I don't think that I would go on an Egyptian Nile cruise for a honeymoon, but it sounds like something really great to do on any vacation. I would love to spend some time cruising the Nile, but I hadn't heard of anybody doing this on a honeymoon yet. Do you have a website that has Nile cruises on it?

Honeymoon or no honeymoon, I think Nile cruises are an excellent way to get away.
I know these two websites that give details on many different Nile Cruises. One even gives you the rates so you have quite a variety to choose from. I'll send you a msg on that.

What are the reasons you don't think you'd choose it for a honeymoon? I think they probably have some fun cruises taking off from Egypt but I can't be sure of that. I'll need to check into it and I also want to check the length of time they actually sail. I've only heard of the dinner cruises. |

I guess because I envision places like Jamaica, Bahamas, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, etc for Honeymoon destinations.

The main reason that I wouldn't choose it for a honeymoon is because I wouldn't want to go on a cruise for a honeymoon. I would want to go to a resort, or possibly to Europe.

The Nile would certainly provide that warm weather, yes. I'm sitting here smiling because I'm soooo strange when it comes to weather. *MY* perfect honeymoon (although I had mine years ago and it wasn't to this place hehe) would be a cabin in the Alps with COOL cuddle weather.  |

Cold cidd;e weather is nice. and would make for a romantic atmosphere. But to be honest I would prefer warm sunny weather.
