Many of you here have traveled extensively all over the world. Collectively, we should have some great tales to tell and some fascinating experiences. If you could only name one travel experience you've had, which one would it be? Which travel moment stands out the most of all?

Depends on what you find 'moving and spiritual'.....the beach is always moving and spiritual to me....as are the rocky mountains.....however, as far as an unusual town with great people and a great and different look on life, I would go with carrboro, NC. Great people, great music, art, culture scene, near other major areas of NC. They also have a weekly swap meet...where you bring your stuff or your abilities, and swap out things with others...pretty cool idea.

It depends on what I'm looking for. For a great city, I love visiting New Orleans in the U.S. because it's not like any other city in the country. For an island getaway I like Jamaica for it's laid back attitude. For something exotic you can't beat anywhere in Africa whether it's Egypt, Morocco or South Africa or anywhere in between.
