Any place in Africa, is there a better season or time frame to visit than others?

I really don't know the best time to visitis. But A neighbor of mine went there to visit, and ended up moving there. She came back for a visit, and she says she really loves it. She said people there are so different then they are here, and they treat you so much better.

Africa is vast, with a very varied climatology. Timing should really depend on on where you want to go and what you want to do.
Like there are usually specific times when going on safari is great while other time you may not see much. or some seasons have favourable weather while others dont, and even the prices may vary with season -some may be too expensive while other times may be reasonably pocket friendly.
I'd advise, depending with what you want to go do in Africa, always seek advise. Otherwise if you ask me, Africa really is a great place to hang out all year and indeed, the p'ple are great.

That's a really good recommendation for any country or city! I've often been to places that I end up thinking I'd like to call home, but I've not (so far at least hehe) actually done it.

I guess I could see how you could go to another country for a visit and end up moving their. I don't know if I could personally do it only because my whole family is here. But I say if you can go for it. I have been looking into trips to Africa and we are thinking and I am finding the same thing the poster mentioned above that it just depends on what type of weather you like and what you are wanting to do.

I have heard that any time of year is suitable to visit Africa. It just depends on your own personal tastes, and there are many sites to see year round.
As for visiting somewhere and then moving there, I can see myself doing it.

Thanks for the information. I have only been to one place where I would move to, but again I haven't been very many places.

See I wouldn't really want to go during the rainy season myself. I just don't care to have to see all the sights in the rain.

Can't blame you tater 03. I know I would not want to go doing the rainy season. I can sit at home in the rain, I would not want to go that far just to sit in the rain.

I am not a fan of the rainy season either. Doesn't Africa have a lot of rain? I mean here in VA we will have the rain shower here and there or what not, but doesn't Africa have like days and days of rain sometimes?

I think during there rainy season. I heard that when there rainy season hits it can rain for days. So for sure I wouldn't want to go when it is raining all the time. You really wouldn't get to see much.

Thank you, so it would be a consistent substantial amount of rain that would be falling during their rainy season. Thanks, no I def. do not want to travel during that time frame.
