No, we haven't been on a safari yet but we are looking into going on one in about two years time. We are just researching the different ones now. Cannot wait.

I have not been on a safari yet, but I am really looking forward to going on one in just a few years. I want to start doing some research on them, because I'm getting really excited about it!

Years ago when I was a kid I remember a neighbor of my mom and dad went on a safari every year. When he came home he used to shows us pictures, tell us all about it. After seeing all the pictures and hearing all his stories I have always wanted to go on one.

What kind of African wildlife would be the most exciting for you to see? I don't think I could choose a favorite except that things with big teeth in the water wouldn't be a favorite for me.

I would actually love to see anything out in the wild. I would be thrilled to see any type of wildlife that I couldn't see here in the United States.

Yes... it's just not the same seeing those animals in zoos in other parts of the word. They're very different in the wild than they are in a restricted setting.

Yes, I know that after going on a safari, the zoo will be ruined for me. It just won't be the same for me anymore. I always notice that animals I see in the zoo seem to be sulking. I can't wait to see animals that are happy to be where they are.

Very true... when you look at the size of the area they have to remain in at a zoo (and some much worse than others in size) it makes seeing animals in their own environment much more enjoyable.

I too, noticed that the last time I went to the zoo, the animals seemed so sad and just not like they should be.

Some zoos do serve a good purpose though, to take care of animals that could not otherwise survive in their natural habitat. I really do wish that some of the animals could have larger areas to roam - places where they can have privacy if they wish to have it too.

I am ok with nature reserves where animals are protected yet living in their own natural habitat.

I have been on Safari to Kenya, and I can tell ya its WICKED!. I had some pretty amazing times when I went to Kenya early this year, I have never seen so many different people with different cultures and believes. One thinks that the world is small, or how are we all mistaken, the world is just weird and everyone and everything is never the same. The animals in Africa, wow!, you should really do some safari, its worth the trip. Its really worth it.
I loved my time in Africa.
