That is what I would do. I would go to an agent and have everything set up before I got there. It makes it alot easier for you when you arrive. You are there for a good time not to worry about all the details.

Hey, hiring a vehicle is way much easier and cheaper, trust me, I know because you get to plan your own travels and no one has to haggle you over extra costings, besides more vehicles for hire are always in good condition so I would suggest if you one to hire one, better be with another friend so that you may exchange while on road. Also must have is an international Drivers Licinse. Important.and a MAP. Roll Eyes
