What time of year would you say is the best time to visit Morocco?  Is there anything important
a traveler needs to know about the country before the stay?

I found the answer to this and the best times.. at least for me and my other factors,
would be either April or May or October through early November.

I cannot remember for sure but is that the rainy season? I think I would rather put up with some rain and not the real high temperatures.

katharine- what makes those times of the year a great pick for you? Is the weather mild?

I know that April is fairly mild, but sunny so a great time to go.

Mild... that's a good word, yes... because it's never "cool" but some months are very
hot.  There are the rains in spring, but if you research, you'll see that there are two
different seasons of rain and one of the seasons it's just short periods of rain and then
soon passes.  I think that's rather refreshing and not a show stopper.

April sounds good to me. That is when my anniversary is. Maybe I can talk my husband  into taking me there for our annivsary. That would be nice.

Hey, go for it!  You can take the laptop along and download some pictures for the rest
of us to see.  :-)   I actually plan to do the same... I don't travel without the laptop.   Smiley

I would have to opt for the short rainy season where it is not as bad. Now if we could just make a decision on where exactly we want to go.

That's what I found most difficult, too... there's Kenya and Egypt for us that are not debatable, but then
what about Morocco (Casablanca) and Tanzania (Kilamanjaro)... and Zanzibar and South Africa.... see?  Now
if we could afford a whole month of being away, it would be a whole lot easier.   Grin

Since I hear that it gets really hot, I would most likely not go in the summer. I am pretty sure that I would like to go in the fall or spring, because I hear that the weather is not as extreme.

I like the heat . but not extreme heat. I just want it to be around 70 to 80 degrees. That is a perfect temperature for me.

I do know that the rainy seson is between October and April. So if you go in April you should be alright rain wise.
