This luxury trip combines the delights of South Africa’s most beautiful city, Cape Town, and its environs (including the Cape Peninsula and the Stellenbosch winelands) with three days volunteering at an orphanage, school, environmental project or community kitchen, followed by an incredible 3 days on safari at a premier Big 5 lodge.

Your first day involves a briefing with your guide, a tour of Cape Town, and a cablecar ride up Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the city and harbour. You will stay in a boutique luxury hotel throughout your time in Cape Town.

On the following day, you will go with your guide out on a private tour to Cape Peninsula, stopping also to see the penguins at Boulders. Depending on the time of year, you may also see whales from the beach (August to October is the best time)!

A relaxing day in the Stellenbosch winelands is your activity on Day 3 - your guide will take you to some superb vineyards where you can sample their specialties. Even if you don't drink, the scenery is stunning!

Days 4-6 are your volunteering days - this is likely to be the highlight of your trip as you get to interact meaningfully with the local people, and help make a difference in their lives.

After saying farewell to your new friends, you have an early flight on Day 7 to Jo'burg, where you are met by your driver and escorted to your luxury lodge, 3 hours drive away, where you should arrive in time to freshen up before your first game drive - the 'Big 5' of lions, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo await you!

You will have a gourmet dinner after your drive, and you have the rest of the evening to relax.

You have morning and afternoon/evening game drives on Day 8, as well as three superb meals.

On your final day, Day 9, you will have a final game drive in the morning, have breakfast, and drive back to Jo'burg for your onward flight.

My favorite vacation destination is Istanbul, Turkey.. It is one of the provinces that best illustrates this aspect of the Marmara region. Thanks to the constant very humid climate of Istanbul, An increase in mediterranean flora is observed in the warmer areas to the south of the city especially on the Princes' Islands, is the only place in Istanbul with a mediterranean vegetation...

South Africa is a large country and has a great diversity of bird life and wildlife, and has very many game reserves where a traveler could view this wonderful fauna and flora.
