Although it sports a rather strange name, Mafia Island, (aka Chole Shamba)  and
more specifically the Mafia Marine National Park is a good place to do snorkeling
and scuba diving if you're into water sports and need something to do in Tanzania.

I have never been snorkeling but have always wanted to try it. I have thought about attempting this when I go but hadn't really looked into it as of yet. I will have to check this place out.

I have never been snorkeling, but it is something that I would like to try. I think it would be a great experience to see all the different things that live under the waters.

I looked this up and it is a very beautiful place. I am so glad you passed this along because in all of my searching and figuring out what I would like to do when I go I had not run across this place. Now if I could just get my husband to want to snorkle. He would like to but he thinks that he will go to deep and breath in the water. I guess I can see why he would think that but I am sure they would train you not to do soimething like that.

I know for me that this is one of those things that I just could not pass up doing. I have seen shows where they are underwater and I just cannot imagine what it would be like to actually see it with my own eyes.

Yes, I was very impressed with the place, too.  I have a feeling that there are a lot of those little
"hidden away" gems in any area of the world and all we have to do is discover them.   Smiley
